George and Gail are a husband and wife team specializing in Theater, Wedding and Portrait Photography. They met in 1993, and have been together ever since. On first sight, George began handing over his paychecks…Gail was his bank teller! While it was love at first sight, it took eight years for them to finally tie the knot. In 2008 they finally found a home for their business in the historic Faulkner Mills in North Billerica. It was another "love at first sight” moment when they first walked into the space that became their studio and where ASA Photographic now calls home (read more on our blog).
With formal training in photography and lighting from New England School of Photography, George is ASA's technical mind. He keeps the business up to date with equipment software and techniques in shooting, processing and printing.
Born and raised in the Boston area, George has documented much of New England through his stock photography work with a particular focus on the Cape Cod and coastal areas. Through his family's appreciation for the arts and his father's camera, George discovered his love for photography as an early teen. Many cameras and several years later, photography is still his passion.
A graduate of Bentley College, Gail brings a mind for business and that feminine touch and the attention to detail. She is the creative mind responsible for the presentation of images and the creation of albums, collages, and photo books.
Gail's interest in photography also began in her teens when she discovered it's ability to capture emotion and power to tell a story. She is a Massachusetts native and a graduate of Bentley College.
